Most covers hang off your mirrors. This one locks in your doors.
The usual windshield cover loops elastic straps around the side mirrors. Cold makes the elastic brittle, wind catches the slack, and the whole thing ends up in the neighbor's yard. The Weatherforce 365 holds on three ways instead.
Door-lock panels
A fabric panel on each side tucks inside the front door. Close the door and the car itself is holding the cover. It also makes the cover hard to walk off with from a locked car.
Built-in magnets
Magnets along the edges grab the steel body so the cover sits flat against the glass instead of flapping.
Pull it taut
A tight cover gives the wind nothing to grab. Stretch it across the glass before you shut the doors. That one habit is the difference between a cover that stays and one that walks.
How much of your winter goes to scraping?
Set your own numbers. This is simple arithmetic from what you enter, not a performance claim.
Lifting the cover and shaking it off takes about a minute. Your scraping time is whatever you entered above.
Black for snow. Silver for sun.
Flip the same cover over when the season changes. Nothing to buy twice, nothing to store in the garage.

For snow, sleet and ice
Everything that would have frozen to the glass lands on the cover. In the morning, open the doors, lift it away and shake it off. Wipers stay free too.
Scrape it, strap it, or cover it.

"Mirror-strap cover" describes the common elastic-strap design, not any specific brand. "var" means it varies by product. The Weatherforce 365 does not cover the side mirrors.
On in three moves
Lay it across the glass
Unfold it over the windshield with the side you want facing out. Wipers go underneath.
Pull it taut, let the magnets grab
Stretch it edge to edge so it sits flat, and the magnets hold the edges against the body.
Shut the doors on the panels
Tuck a side panel inside each front door and close them. The car is now holding the cover for you.

One size, cut big on purpose.
The retail listing puts it at about 120 by 72 inches. That's sized to reach across full-size windshields, so on smaller cars there's extra fabric. Here's what that means for you.
- Compact and mid-size carsCovers the glass with fabric to spare. Fold the excess into the doors with the panels so it sits tight.
- SUVs, crossovers and minivansCovers most windshields edge to edge. The side mirrors are not covered.
- Full-size trucksReaches across most full-size windshields. Very tall glass may show a strip at the bottom. Email us your model before ordering and we'll check.
- Aluminum or fiberglass bodiesMagnets only hold on steel. The door panels still work the same way, so the cover still stays put.
What owners of this cover tell us, both ways.
We'd rather you know the trade-offs now than find them in February. These are the patterns in public reviews of this cover and how to get the most out of it.
- The scraping stopsThe most repeated line in reviews, usually followed by "no more getting up early."
- The door panelsOwners call out that it stays on where strap covers blew away, and that it can't be lifted off a locked car.
- One cover for the whole yearBlack side in winter, silver side in summer, no second purchase.
- Fit it on a clean carMagnets pressed over grit can mark paint on any magnetic cover. Wipe the edges down and shake the cover out before refitting.
- Tight beats loose in windA slack cover gives gusts something to catch. Pull it taut and make sure both panels are fully inside the doors.
- It's a windshield cover, not air conditioningThe silver side reflects sun off the glass. Expect a cooler steering wheel and dash, not a cold cabin.

Questions before you buy
Which side goes out?
Black faces out in winter so snow, sleet and ice land on the cover and come off with it. Silver faces out in hot, sunny weather to reflect sunlight off the glass.
How does it stay on in wind?
Three ways. Magnets hold the edges to the steel body, a panel on each side closes inside the front doors, and pulling it taut leaves nothing for the wind to grab. Strong gusts can shift any cover, so check both panels are fully inside the doors before you walk away.
Will the magnets mark my paint?
They can on any magnetic cover if there's grit between the magnet and the paint. Fit it on a clean, dry surface, wipe the door edges before you lay it down, and shake the cover out before each use.
Does it freeze to the windshield?
Covers can freeze to glass when melting snow refreezes underneath. The door panels and magnets keep this one flat against the glass, which limits the gap meltwater runs into. If an edge does stick, lift from the top rather than pulling from a corner.
Can someone just take it off my car?
The side panels sit inside the closed, locked doors, so it can't simply be lifted away like a strap cover. Treat it as a strong deterrent, not a lock.
Will it fit my car?
It's one size, about 120 by 72 inches, cut to reach across full-size windshields. Smaller cars have extra fabric to fold into the doors. Side mirrors are not covered. If you drive a tall truck or van, email us the model before you order and we'll check it against the dimensions.
Does the silver side keep the car cool?
It reflects sunlight off the windshield, which keeps the dash, wheel and seats from baking. It won't make a parked car cold. Think "not scalding," not "air conditioned."
How do I clean and store it?
Shake off loose snow and dirt. It's machine washable per the manufacturer. Let it dry fully before folding it into the attached pocket so it doesn't go away damp.
When will it arrive?
